Ahava Felicidad works wonders with natural hair. What is natural hair? or natural growth hair? It is your hair as it naturally grows out of your head - free of chemical processing -no relaxer/texturizer (they are the same) - no keratin treatment - no salt enzyme treatment. This client needed a new style. As a busy mother of two she had not been giving herself any real hair healing time much less had a nice style in months. It was her time and look what she got!

Consultations start at $35 and range up to $100 depending on what type of assistance you need on your journey.
Prices for styling are based on hair texture, density, length and type, and scalp issues will be considered as well.
Full scalp exfoliation starts at $150 to remove dead skins (naturally) that may be blocking follicles and hair growth and causing ingrown hairs.

The client’s hair was condition washed with a full sugar scrub for her scalp to exfoliate a layer of dead skin cells. She was prepped for the blow dry with Andalou Styling Cream (a favorite of Ahava for blow-dry techniques) Her hair was blown textured - not straight with Ahava’s fingers, warm and cool air. This creates more volume, allows more moisture to remain in the hair not drying it out and creates a great foundation for the ceramic press. Ahava set her ceramic iron on 140 degrees in order to press the hair straight. She runs the iron through 1 inch by 1 inch sections two to three times and moves on to the next section.  Butterfly clips are used to hold the blow dried hair in place while sections are being straightened.

This is called the Felicidad Blow-Out and Ceramic Press℠ . Ahava always suggests that you blow dry on the coolest temperature setting possible, especially for fine thin density hair. High heat can be damaging and also straightens thinner than most clients would like to have their hair.
